Hamor Manor
A one-storey Baroque manor located in a valley along the Gradna stream.
Like in the old days, the Hamor Manor shines in its full glow in a peaceful park near the Lipovec Gradna after being fully renovated. A one-storey Baroque manor built in the middle of the 18th century is located in a valley along the Gradna stream next to the existing copper manufacturing. Copper was manufactured here for four centuries which makes it the oldest copper manufacturing in Croatia.
Today the copper manufacture is long gone, but the manor stands as a reminder of the days of the greatest growth at the beginning of the 19th century when Franjo Ksaver Reiser additionally expanded his business. However, the real wealth of the manor is hidden in its interior. Furniture and art pieces in Renaissance, late Baroque, Biedermeier and Historicism style prove that Samobor was a rich town even in the worst of times.
