Kiepach Manor

One of the most beautiful examples of the late Baroque profane buildings in the Samobor area used to belong to the Drašković family. The manor is derelict today, and only here and there a visitor in Bregana stops and asks about possible interesting stories hidden behind the manor walls. And the stories are again linked to the Croatian National Revival because, just like the Livadić Manor and the Mirnovec Manor, so was the Kiepach Manor a place where the Illyrians gathered.

After it was bought by the Kiepach family, it acquired a commercial purpose, so there used to be a distillery, a brewery, a drying house, and an ice house, and there was also the First Croatian cane factory. Next to the manor there was a luxurious garden and a beautiful park, but today the garden is gone, and the park has become an orchard.
