As Samobor is large and small at the same time, so is the Lang Photo Gallery for many artists maybe the smallest gallery they have ever exhibited, but big regarding the quality of content which they have been presenting to the audience for years.
Lang Photo Gallery was established in November 2002 as a part of the non-profit Association for Promoting Contemporary Photography Fotum – Samobor. Since its establishment, the Gallery has organized over 130 exhibitions, some in their own space and some away, in Croatia and abroad. Thanks to the Gallery, Samobor has seen some of the most famous domestic photographers, as well as a number of foreign photo masters, and it is worth pointing out that the Lang Photo Gallery also provides ongoing information to the audience about current events in European photography. In addition, thanks to the Lang Photo Gallery, the public is familiar with the local photo sensation from ancient times, Bahovč's collection of photographs and stereography. Every few months at the fixed time, on Sundays at noon, the Photo Gallery Lang tries to offer new insights into the world of quality photography.
